Love the old buildings and the sensation of abandonment in this photo…it feels so lonely. Sad that so many places in our country and the world are just figments of the past ;(
The loneliness permeates these places. Many of the towns I passed through seemed empty, quasi-deserted. At times I would wonder why I was seeing no people, on a week-day. Although towns often seemed deserted, I wasn’t sure my interpretation was accurate, since I was a man with city eyes passing through.
