  1. Very beautiful! Abstract … yet not abstract.
I am very drawn to images of trees … but you may already have noticed that! (Hopefully that doesn’t symbolize anything bad!) Was struck first time upon reading Sarah Teasdale.

    1. Thanks. I, too, have a thing about trees. They are archetypal, such as Tree of Knowledge, Tree of Life, World Tree, etc. They have deep symbolic resonance for people. When I have displayed the Daphne photo, people were very drawn to it and comment on how it is particularly compelling. That is because the archetype lives in all of us, ancient and in the bone.

      1. And this reminds me that I need to finish reading Tolkein so I can start on Jung! 😉

Found out a little about the Russian World Tree … which is interesting since locally “Tree of Life” jewelry is a big thing. [http://www.route5.com/images/065.020.jpg]
